On Friday the 12th of October Baladeva Class ( Year 3) visited Royal Mews and Queens Gallery situated next to Buckingham Palace. The children very attentively participated in the workshop on British values and the role of the Monarch in the United Kingdom. Our tour guide Sheila was very impressed with their knowledge and exceptionally good behaviour. She later on took us on the tour around Royal Mews where children saw many of the carts used in various state ceremonies and they also met royal horses. Then Sheila took us to meet Caroline in Queens Gallery who did an art workshop with Year 3, sketching their favourite item in the special exhibition about India ” Splendours of the Subcontinent ” children were praised for their good attention and appropriate questions that made their teacher Sarasvati very proud. It was a wonderful day.
