Safety Week

In September the children participated in Safety Week and heard from both the Garston Firefighters and the local police who visited the school.  Important safety messages were communicated as well as key mantras to remember when in danger.  The children enthusiastically explored the fire truck, and the police car and were treated to demonstrations of equipment used in the field, sirens, water hoses and “wearing the uniform”.  In addition the children were reminded of key messages of personal safety that we have learnt from the visit of the NSPCC such as “Speak Out” Stay Safe”.
